Additional Requirements
These are the recommended dependencies and quick fixes to help Helheim Classic Conquer run smoothly. If the game crashes, won’t start, or files disappear, check the sections below.
Flash Player (Required)
Helheim Classic Conquer uses Flash-based UI components. If Flash is missing, the client may fail to load properly, show blank panels, or crash.

If you already have it installed and still get issues, continue to the Defender/Antivirus section below.
.NET Framework (Required)
The launcher and some client components may require Microsoft .NET Framework. If you get errors about missing DLLs, startup failures, or “.NET” related messages, install it from Microsoft:
Tip: After installation, restart your computer before launching the game again.
Antivirus / Microsoft Defender Exclusion Guide
Some antivirus programs may incorrectly flag private server game files (false positives). If your Conquer.exe / ConquerHelheim.exe keeps getting deleted, quarantined, or you keep receiving errors, add the game folder (or exe) as an exclusion.
Windows Security (Microsoft Defender)
- Open Windows Security
- Go to Virus & threat protection
- Under Virus & threat protection settings, click Manage settings
- Scroll to Exclusions → click Add or remove exclusions
- Click Add an exclusion → choose Folder
- Select your Helheim client folder (the folder containing Conquer.exe)
Recommended exclusions
- The entire Helheim client folder (best option)
- OR the game executable only: Conquer.exe / ConquerHelheim.exe
After adding exclusions, re-extract the client/patch if files were removed and launch the game again.
