Discord Link
Verify the connection between your Helheim game account and Discord to unlock protected services, rewards, and community features.
What Gets Linked?
The link connects your Helheim game account to your Discord account. The character currently online is recorded when the code is generated, but the verification belongs to the game account rather than only that single character.
One Discord Account
A Discord account can only be connected to one game account at a time. This prevents reward duplication and protects account-bound services.
How to Link Your Account
- Log into the Helheim character belonging to the game account you want to verify.
- Type /linkdiscord in the in-game chat.
- Copy the six-character Discord Link Code displayed in your game messages.
- Join the official Helheim Discord server using the Discord link in the site navigation.
- In the appropriate Discord bot-command channel, enter /link CODE, replacing CODE with the code shown in game.
- Wait for Discord to confirm that the connection succeeded. The protected in-game services will then recognize the linked account.
A generated code is single-use. Never post it publicly or give it to another player. If you generate a replacement code, use the newest code shown by the game.
Benefits of Linking

Free VIP Claim Rules
- The free seven-day launch VIP can only be claimed once by a game account.
- The connected Discord account can also only be used for one free launch VIP claim.
- You need at least one free inventory slot when claiming the VIPToken.
- Unlinking does not erase the claim record. Linking either identity elsewhere does not make the reward available again.
The permanent claim history protects the reward from being repeatedly collected through unlinking and relinking.
How to Unlink
- Log into the game account that currently owns the Discord connection.
- Type /unlinkdiscord to display the warning and confirmation instructions.
- Review the consequences, especially the permanent free VIP claim history.
- Type /unlinkdiscord confirm to remove the connection.
- Wait for the success message before leaving the game or attempting to link elsewhere.
Unlinking removes the active relationship between the two accounts and clears pending codes belonging to that game account. It does not delete the Helheim account, Discord account, characters, or previously recorded one-time reward claims.
Relinking Cooldown
After a Discord connection is removed, a 24-hour cooldown begins from the time of the unlink. During this period, the unlinked identity cannot immediately be moved to a different account or character.
- The full 24 hours must pass before linking the Discord account to a new Helheim account or establishing the replacement character/account connection.
- Generating repeated codes does not shorten or reset the waiting requirement.
- The cooldown is a security and abuse-prevention measure for protected rewards, voting, LuckyBoxes, and future linked services.
- Plan an unlink carefully if you need uninterrupted access to systems that require Discord verification.
This cooldown is part of the documented linking policy.
Common Problems

| Free VIP cannot be claimed | Check inventory space and remember that prior claims remain recorded for both the game account and Discord account. |
| Unlink command only shows a warning | This is intentional. Enter /unlinkdiscord confirm to approve the irreversible link removal. |
